Host virtual meetings on Zoom with your Djamo card
With the pandemic, virtual meetings became more and more essential. They’re a great tool for businesses and event organizers.
Today, with the right software and gear, you can run online events or meet with colleagues from home, no matter the distance.
Zoom - alongside Google Meet and Microsoft Teams - is one of the leading video-conferencing platforms, used by thousands worldwide. It lets you interact with your colleagues virtually when in-person isn’t an option, and it’s also become hugely popular for social events.
Since May 2, 2022, meetings on the free Basic plan are capped at 40 minutes. For longer virtual meetings, you’ll need a paid plan.
What do you get with a Zoom plan?
Zoom is a full-featured platform for webinars and online meetings. It runs on a subscription - pay monthly or annually with your Djamo card. Before adding your card (even for testing), make sure you have enough funds to avoid rejection fees.
Monthly billing comes in at 46 € a month. If you go annual, the license is 469 €, or 39 € a month.
With a Zoom plan and your Djamo card, you get unlimited virtual meetings with up to 300 participants and free scheduling displays for each of your meeting rooms. Inviting people to a meeting is simplified by Office 365, Google, and Exchange calendar integration. Plus, the meeting calendar shows up on the room screen and tablet (when there is one). You also get up to 1 GB of storage for meeting recordings. Just click on a meeting to launch it.
