Listen to unlimited music on Spotify with Djamo 🎵
Hey! Music fan? Listen to your favorite tracks unlimited on Spotify. In this article, we show you how to buy a subscription with your Djamo card.
What does Spotify do?
Spotify - just like Deezer, Apple Music, YouTube Music Premium, Amazon Music Unlimited and Tidal - is a digital platform giving you unlimited access to over 30 million tracks sorted by artist, album, title and genre. You can search by artist or album, and you’ll love the personalized playlist feature even more. There’s also offline listening for Premium subscribers.
And right now, when you sign up for Premium, Spotify gives you one month free.

How to create a Spotify account?
To create a Spotify account, head over to Spotify’s website. It’s true that you can create an account through the Spotify app on the Play Store or App Store, but you can’t add your card or pay for a subscription through the app.
On the Spotify homepage, click “Log in” in the top right corner. Since you don’t have an account yet, you’ll be asked to create one. Fill in the fields as shown in the image below. That’s it - your account is created.

How to add your Djamo card?
Once your account is created, you can add your Djamo card as a payment method:
- On the website, click on the Premium tab You’ll be redirected to a page showing the different Spotify subscription plans
- Choose the one that suits you and click “Get started” Enter your Djamo card details (the card number on the front, the expiration date, the 3-digit security code on the back).

A few cases where Spotify charges you twice
Changing plans
It can happen that Spotify charges you twice. This happens when you’ve changed plans and switched to another one (for example, Spotify Duo Premium).
Your first payment for this new plan comes a few days earlier than usual to balance out the higher monthly cost. After that, you’ll pay once a month on the anniversary date (or close to it) of your first payment.
Payments for multiple accounts
- You may have accidentally signed up for Spotify Premium with a second account. Try logging in with all the credentials you might have used to create an account.
- Also check if a family member or friend has subscribed using your bank details. If so, they need to immediately cancel or change their payment method and refund you.

When you get charged for a free trial
Sometimes Spotify charges you when you were expecting a free trial. Unfortunately, this happens in the following cases:
- You’ve already used a trial;
- You’ve already bought a Premium subscription
- You’ve been a member of a Premium Family or Premium Duo subscription.
- The trial period is over and your subscription auto-renews at the end of the trial, unless you cancel.
You can check your receipts, as well as your subscription details and payments, on your Spotify account page.
Payment failure
Your payment on Spotify can fail for the following reasons:
- Your card isn’t sufficiently topped up (Please top up your card to avoid rejection fees)
- You didn’t enter your card details correctly
- An internet connection issue - wait a few hours and try again.
