Order your favorite meal on Jumia Food with your Djamo card

Got the munchies and want to order on Jumia Food? With your Djamo card, order your favorite meals - and pay no extra fees.

On Jumia Food, you’ve got endless choice given the variety on offer. African, Asian, European, American, Indian, Chinese, Lebanese - every cuisine is there. You can find every dish you love: tchep, attiéké, burgers, pizza, shawarma, sushi and more.

Jumia adds new restaurants to its catalog every day.

Create a Jumia Food account

You can sign up from the app or via the site. To create your account, follow these steps:

• Click “Sign in / Sign up” at the top of the page.
• Fill in your info in the “Create an account” section and click “Save”.

If you’ve already ordered without an account, you can still create one later. Your address and other details are saved automatically to your account.

But for smoother orders, creating an account is a good idea. A few perks:

• Your address is saved to your account, so you don’t have to re-enter it for every order.
• You can see your order history.
• You can re-order quickly and easily.

Pay with your Djamo card

On Jumia Food, paying with your Djamo card is simple and instant. To add your card, go to “Payment methods” and enter your card details: card number, your first and last name as they appear in the “Cards” section of the Djamo app, and the 3-digit security code on the back. Follow the on-screen instructions and you’re ready to pay.

How to place your meal order

• Enter your location and a list of restaurants that deliver to your area will appear
• Pick the restaurant you want and the dish you’d like
• Enter your exact address, payment method and phone number. If you added these when creating your account, they’ll show up automatically and you just confirm your order.

You’ll get a confirmation call before your meal is delivered. That’s it.

Heads up:

• You’ll get a 3D Secure code by SMS, email and push notification to finish adding your card. Enter it in the right field as soon as you get it - it expires fast and the card add can be rejected.
• Before adding your card, top it up to avoid rejection fees for insufficient funds.

Jumia Food lets you use a discount code. After picking your restaurant and meals, you can apply your code. Just enter it in the field on the order summary page. If the code is valid, the discount is calculated automatically and applied immediately. Only one discount code per order.
