Send and receive money via PayPal, safely 🤑
On the PayPal website, you can read: “buy faster with your email and password than you can pull out your wallet.” PayPal is a huge success worldwide - you can send or receive money easily.
Welcome PayPal
Côte d’Ivoire used to be restricted on PayPal because of illegal activities by criminals. Unfortunately, the country has a heavy past with cybercrime. So transactions on the platform were nearly impossible. But that’s all in the past now - PayPal is fully functional in Côte d’Ivoire, much to the joy of its fans.
What can you do with PayPal?
PayPal lets you send and receive money, shop, run fundraisers and more. If your money is stored on your Djamo card, no problem. You can link your Djamo account to your PayPal account and be charged directly on your Djamo balance.
Remember that your Djamo account follows strict security standards. There’s a big upside to storing your money there. You can shop on any site without hassle.
PayPal also lets you send money for a social cause. Want to support a friend? They just generate a link from their app and you’re set. Same for merchants who benefit from this service. With your Djamo account, you transfer with peace of mind - fees are minimal and the card is secure.
Secure online shopping
PayPal is one of the most secure sites in the world. In the era of online scams, it’s natural to ask the question. But don’t worry - everything goes smoothly.
Signing up on the platform is quick and simple. Then you link your Djamo account to your PayPal account. Basically, you just enter your details. In return, you get your credentials like password and email.
No need to top up your PayPal account. You’ll be charged automatically from your Djamo balance. So when you shop online, you enter your PayPal credentials and the magic happens.
This method isn’t popular with hackers. They’re waiting for you to type your card numbers again so they can steal them.
Low fees and guaranteed purchases
PayPal charges 2% on online purchases outside the European Union. And another upside: purchases are guaranteed. When you order on eBay, your items are insured and delivered in good condition.
And if there’s an issue, you can be refunded.
Stay close to your family
PayPal lets you send money to loved ones. But you need to fund your account at least a week in advance. Otherwise, around 3.4% in fees apply. Adding funds and transferring them to your family is simple.
Click on the My account tab, then Add funds. Save the Djamo name with your credentials, then the amount to send.
Stay alert - don’t get scammed
Sometimes scammers go after honest people. For example, they’ll send you an email like: “As part of our security measures, we’d like to obtain certain information about your PayPal account to ensure its security.” Never reply to that email and never send any confidential information. Good to know: emails sent by PayPal include the recipient’s name and come from [email protected].
Djamo tip
The VISA Djamo card is accepted by PayPal - you can register your VISA Djamo card on your PayPal account and shop on any website that accepts PayPal.
